The beauty of loving your job grows even more when you have a boss who understands the value of serving others and supports you to do so even during your work hours. I am Paula, and in addition to loving my job, I find great joy in serving in my Church’s Outreach Ministry. Together with Noe, we sort donations by size and gender, organize them into bins, and prepare grooming kits for Myrtle Beach’s homeless to receive essentials. It is a task that I do with gratitude and with the sincere desire to help others. I deeply appreciate that Integra Fabrics maintains a real commitment to the community and that it allows me to be part of that impact.

Experiencing The Work-Life Balance

“I’ve always been a do it all type of personality! Scoop every second of every day to achieve something! I’ve learned over the years that there is great value and return in relaxing, slowing down a bit, disconnecting from technology, and providing space to “be still and listen”……there is such a thing as work-life balance and I’m thrilled that we embrace that in our company culture. We WANT our team to experience school events with their children, travel, hobbies, quiet time, and to do the things that bring much personal satisfaction and happiness. How does offering flexibility, paid time off, vacation time, volunteer time, and some space to move in and out of traditional defined structures and lines affect our business and annual goals? It is a driver of our success! It is a reduction in sickness absenteeism; happier and less stressed team members; a deeper connection to the company as there is a respect and appreciation of personal interests and time. Here’s how some of us have spent time away over the past months!”
